What? Where have we been and what’s going on?
Hey Social Changemakers!
We have missed you. It’s been a crazy year we’ve been everywhere from Eganville to Georgetown to Thunder Bay to Cornwall training and learning from new Social Changemakers. I know it’s the end of the school year and you are all in the midst of exams and getting ready for summer jobs, camp, relaxing with friends or whatever else you may be up to so we hope you take the time to take a break from school and really chill out, do a mental health check-in and if you have no plans, make some!
Once things are a little slower we would love to hear from you!
Are you looking to up your resume and have a social justice issue you are particularly interested in? Write a blog post for us!
Did you do some great social change work in your school? Share your story with us!
Do you want more ideas for ways to create social change? Go through some quizzes, check out old posts or research and write one for us!
There are so many ways your social justice work can continue into the summer through volunteering, social media, raising money, learning about the issues and connecting with others at community events. Our office continues to run full-steam around here all summer long and we’d love to connect with you so drop us a line either through this website, social media or email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect with me, (Janelle) directly.
